Find Imgurians Locally, Monthly Subs and Loads More!

Hey all,

It’s been a busy week this week, with a lot of new changes, so here goes!

 

Monthly Subscriptions now available

You don’t need a subscription, but getting one gives you more access across the site, and helps us continue building Social Savanna.

If you want to help, but can’t afford a subscription, see the bottom of this post for ways you can help us. 🙂

 

 

 

Messaging and Comments

Private messaging should be a lot quicker and problems like duplicate messages have been fixed.

Both private messaging and comments across the site now support links and images, so you can share Imgur pictures and links with other Imgurians.

 

 

 

 

Meetups and Profiles distance searching 

We have added “search by distance” to Meetups and profiles so you can easily find other Imgurians close to you, and Meetups happening in your area.

 

 

 

 

Blocking and Privacy

Privacy options have been simplified and you can block Imgurians who you don’t want contact with (although, we recommend reporting anyone who is harassing you!).

 

 

 

 

Profiles

We’ve added Q & A to profiles (this will feed our matching algorithm shortly).

Finally, other users can comment on your profile, and we have added relationship status, education and work. 🙂

 

 

 

We’ve got a load more coming this week – most notably a development blog, live site feed, and instant messaging (similar to Facebook) the site over.
